If you are ill or in hospital, would like some pastoral help or require the services of a minister, please contact Stephen (07732211261) or Carolyn (07716600671)

If you would like an announcement to go into the sheet, please could you give it to Carolyn by lunchtime on Thursday. Also, if you are planning an event for your organisation, please could you give the date to Carolyn to go into the church calendar.

Additional Announcements

This Tuesday evening is the next Equip meeting in 1st Ahoghill at 7:30pm. This week the topic is ‘The Will of God’ and the speaker is Rev Mark Neilly.

On Wednesday evening we have a missionary speaker at our Midweek meeting. It will be Samuel Adams from Revival Movement. Come along to hear of the work Revival Movement do, as they distribute literature to up to 170 countries all around the world!

Our Christianity Explored course begins on Thursday evening at 8pm in the Prayer room. This course is specifically designed to bring non-Christians along to, so they can explore what the Bible teaches and ask questions. People are often happier to come if someone they know brings them, so please think and pray about who you could bring along – a friend, neighbour, workmate or relative. Invitations are available on the coffee dock and in the vestibule for you to use to invite someone. Or, if you come along to this church, but are not yet entirely sure what it means to follow Jesus, this is your chance to come along and explore more. All are welcome.

The Elders would like to better use the time before the morning service to give greater opportunities for prayer and fellowship. The plan is that the Sunday morning prayer meeting will move to 10:45am to coincide with the start of Sunday School and Bible Class.  Then there will be tea and coffee from 11:15. You are welcome to attend the prayer meeting or just come for some fellowship over a cuppa.  To make this happen, we need volunteers for tea and coffee. If you can help in this way, please sign up on the sheets at the front and back today, or speak to Carolyn or Stephen.

We will soon be submitting our Gift Aid claim for the 2025 givings. It is very important that you update the Gift Aid agent, Ronnie Brown, of any changes to your circumstances since you last signed a Gift Aid form, particularly if you are no longer a tax payer or have changed address. If you are a tax payer and contribute through CWO, but do not currently Gift Aid your contributions, Ronnie would be happy to explain to you how your contribution could be boosted by 25% at no cost to yourself by signing a form.

If you think you might be interested in becoming a minister in PCI, there is a ministry taster day on Saturday 14th March, 10:30am-1pm, at Union Theological college, Belfast. It’s a chance to meet faculty members, find out what’s involved in the application process and hear about life at the college. It’s free, but you need to book by 7th March by emailing p.todd@union.ac.uk.
